I heard the church defined as: A Christ-centered community on a mission for Christ. If a church fails at being Christ-centered, a community, or on mission, is it still a church?
The biblical definition refers to the "body of believers" as the church, hence the bulding is irrelvant.
The church of "???" therefore ceases to be a church, regarless of location, only if the "???" belief(s) that bind the belivers together ceases to exist.
However the dictionary considers a building a church as long as the building at one time was used for worship.

no, then it's just a building.
