Blogging in the 21st Century

I have heard that this is an innovative way to understand and interact with "real" people. Is this true?

I think so. After reading blogs for a couple of months I decided, along with a couple of others on our church staff to start blogging. In the process I've discovered some things about myself and even better some interesting things about others. It's a good way to communicate with our church and those who care to read who we are and what we're going through.

I'm Tommy and I'm a blogger ...

Welcome to Blogdom, Danny.

Regardless what goes on in your head and what gets typed here on the screen, you will get honest feedback from real people. Not even comment has been uplifting and encouraging, and some have even cut, but it's all honest and real. I wish you well in the Land of Blog, and may the Blog King smile down on you.

Yes. That is correct. But real people come in all shapes, sizes, beliefs, and levels of mental stability. So you never know what kind of response a given post will get...

Good luck in your venture!

our pastor started it, then another pastor and now about a dozen of us have our own blogs. a couple of friends suggested i blog as a way for me to keep my church community posted about my adventures as i embark on a year long trip to costa rica. now i've really gotten into it. not only am i reading and receiving blogs from my own church but they're from all over the world and it's bringing us all into the same family.

it's very real... we share joys and sorrows and it's been a healing experience for some knowing that they are not alone in their struggles.
